EarFun Debuts Wave Pro X Headphones at IFA 2026 Event

-

EarFun has unveiled its latest flagship over-ear headphones, the Wave Pro X, at IFA 2026 in Berlin, introducing significant advancements in audio technology. The headphones feature dual-driver audio, hybrid active noise cancellation, AI-based processing, and an impressive battery life. EarFun’s DCAA acoustic architecture is a highlight, incorporating two independently tuned dynamic drivers and high-purity voice coils to deliver a broader soundstage and detailed audio fidelity across various frequency ranges.

The headphones’ noise cancellation capabilities are bolstered by an eight-microphone array and real-time processing, allowing the Hybrid ANC system to adapt to ambient conditions effectively, minimizing external noise for a better listening experience. Battery life is notably robust, with EarFun claiming up to 90 hours of playback, or 50 hours when active noise cancellation is engaged. Additionally, a quick 15-minute charge can extend playback time by up to 10 hours, ensuring users stay connected longer.

Designed for comfort and convenience, the Wave Pro X comes with foldable memory-foam earcups, making them suitable for prolonged use. Connectivity options include Bluetooth multipoint, enabling seamless switching between devices, and a 3.5mm wired connection with a hi-res bypass option for enhanced audio quality. EarFun CEO White Wang emphasized that the product was developed with a focus on improving sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, connectivity, and battery performance, rather than honing in on a single feature.

In addition to the Wave Pro X, EarFun provided a preview of its forthcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. These earbuds are anticipated to offer refined sound tuning, active noise cancellation, and adaptive processing. In collaboration with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology business, EarFun has worked on acoustic engineering services, focusing on ANC modelling, tuning, and validation. More details about the Air Pro 5’s specifications and availability will be announced in the near future.

The Wave Pro X headphones are currently available for purchase worldwide through EarFun’s official website and Amazon, priced at €149.99, $129.99, and £119.99.
