Toshihiro Suzuki, the President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, paid a visit to Budapest on Thursday for important discussions with Hungarian leaders, including Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Prime Minister Péter Magyar. His visit underscored the strong ties between Suzuki and Hungary, with conversations centering on the automotive industry’s future and the significant role Suzuki plays in the Hungarian economy.
During his meeting with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Suzuki engaged in discussions about the global economic landscape and the automotive sector’s evolving challenges, particularly the transition to electric vehicles and the integration of new technologies. Suzuki’s presence in Hungary has been notable since 1991 when the company established its local subsidiary.
